Terms
of reference :
- Review the
current position of ISM & H Infrastructure and manpower in
the Govt. Private and voluntary sectors, suggest mechanism for
rationalisation and optimum utilization of the available manpower
in improving the health care coverage especially in the remote
rural and tribal areas.
- To review
the present position progress/problems in the utilization of Indian
Systems of Medicine & Homoeopathy in the country and to suggest
change/modifications in the programmes and priorities. Review
ongoing efforts to achieve integration between the modern and
ISM& H systems of medicine in the health care facilities and
suggest mechanisms for improving arrangement for optimal utilization.
- Review on-going
Undergraduate and Postgraduate training programmes suggest steps
to improve quality review ongoing CME and measures to improve
contents quality, coverage to enable mainstreaming and increasing
involvement of ISM & H practitioners in the Health care and
National Programmes.
- To review
the progress achieved in the Ninth Plan in the areas of clinical
research on drugs pertaining to various systems, cultivation,
collection and processing of the various medicinal plants and
standardisation of the drugs in use and to suggest thrust areas
in each of these during the 10th Plan.
- To project
financial/physical requirements for implementation of these programmes
during the 10th Plan.
The
Chairman may form sub-groups and co-opt official or non-official
members as needed.
The
TA/DA of non-official members of the Committee will be paid as admissible
under Govt. rules by Department of ISM & H. The TA/DA of the
official members would be paid by the respective Govt. Departments/
Institutions to which they belong.
The
Working Group may submit its report by 31st March, 2001.
