Terms
of reference :
- To review
the impact of HADP and WGUP and bring out achievements and failures,
if any, together with necessary remedial measures;
- To recommend
policy framework for the development of areas under HADP and WGDP
during Tenth Five Year Plan, keeping in view the status of the
development, needs and aspirations of the local people;
- To identify
specific areas of activities which fit into the ecology of the
hill areas under HADP and WGDP;
- To suggest
strategies and measures for long-term integrated development of
the areas under these programmes; and
- To suggest
administrative, operational and organisational measures both at
the Centre and the State level for effective implementation and
monitoring of these Programmes.
Non-official
members will be entitled for TADA as per relevant rules of Government
of India.
